I am so behind with my blogging, more to come soon!

So I was flown to Sydney, I did 7 family shoots in one day, I was so exhausted, but also got to catch up with family who was down there... had a great time and have to admit it was a nice break (without kids) haha I actually got to eat my dinner hot, and sleep without knees in my back or elbows in my face! I hate flying and I hate planes and heights, so the flight there and back was interesting, but was happy to land safely each time!

I met a beautiful girl who is over from New York for a working holiday! We decided to get together and do a model shoot with a 'mermaid' theme!!

My mum made us a fin and it was perfect!! Thanks MUM!!

We had lots of little adventures as we roughed the sand, the wind, flying eyelashes and high tide!! crazy sand which is not tasty hahaha The weather really was NOT on our side!!

Thanks Miss J, I really enjoyed our shoot, and a special thanks to Adam Bolt  from Adam Bolt Photography who assisted me today also! :D

Terrifying floods and volunteering has stopped me from getting around to week two! will catch up next week for week three :D

So after all of the water has gone down, people will go to their homes and find they have lost so so much, It is so heartbreaking to hear what people are going through!!

One way Photographers can help is by donating their time and talent to ensure families will have some new memories to hang on their fresh walls as they start rebuilding everything....

I have joined the QLD & NSW Flood Victims Photo Appeal to donate photo sessions to those who have been directly effected by the floods in Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas... this will be happening throughout all of 2011....

Below is a picture of my 3 year old son, so totally oblivious to the horrible loss others are going through with the destruction the floods are causing and have left behind...

There is so much devastation and suffering in Brisbane and all around QLD and North NSW at the moment, even other states are copping it!

We are blessed to be high and dry, but feel so helpless as people just around the corner have lost everything!! :(

My heart goes out to all who have lost...

My house is in great need of de cluttering and organizing, so I thought to take a pic of our garages, full of boxes unpacked from 3 years ago, chairs, props, clothes horses full of clothes since we have had buckets of rain and of course a boat we just found ha ha

Brisbane Photographer || Photo a day challenge 365 days :O

I tried this once before and just got so busy, I stopped, but this year I plan to make it, so far there have been 5 days..... I have missed those 5 days already!! starting from today I plan to try and do MCP photo a week!! here are 5 pics from different days over Christmas/new year period.... :P

rain, rain and more rain!! the monsters were stuck inside and sending me crazy, so i gave them permission to go and play in the rain hahahaa

 my god sister (cousin) finally came to visit us up here with her hubby, it was so great to see them after many years!! we were all sad when they had to go :(

Thomas the tank engine is at the train museum in Ipswich at the moment, my obsessed 3 year old didn't know where to go or what to look at, trains everywhere!!! he didn't stop running the whole day!!
